First Grand Alliance Artillery

This is the first of the guns ready to roar. I decided I'd get the big guy out of the way before I moved on to the smaller pieces. It's listed on the League of Augsburg site in the Warfare Miniatures section as a "Monster gun of position" no arguments from me in that respect. It's a fantastic model and I'm rather chuffed with how it turned out.

Grand Alliance Infantry (in better pics)

I visited Barry Hilton on Tuesday of this week and took part in a Crimean War game with Dave O'Brien as my opponent. We were play testing the forthcoming Four Empires supplement for Republic To Empire and it was fantastic fun, possibly the most glorious defeat I've ever had! I'll post up photos from that soon. I had my Grand Alliance infantry with me and Barry took several shots of them. I reckon they look great and they certainly put my "skills" with a camera into perspective.

Grand Alliance Infantry

Time for another update to my gradually expanding Warfare Miniatures forces. I had plenty of problems painting this unit, not least of which was impaling myself on the pikes several times! 

This is Brewer's Regiment of Foot. 

All in all, they've turned out quite well. Next up - artillery.
